J. Helen Cross elected ILAE President 2021-2025 term

The election of the ILAE President for the 2021-2025 term concluded on the 10th April 2020 and Dr J Helen Cross was elected with 77% of the votes.

It gives us great pleasure to inform you that Dr Cross has accepted her election as President for the next term. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Ed Bertram and Dr Marco Tulio Medina for running. We are sure that they, along with all of our members, will join us in congratulating Dr Cross on her election and wish her a productive and successful tenure as President.

Spotlight on open access

Open Access is a publishing model by which research outputs are freely available to read, download, and share; additionally, an open license allows the author to retain the article copyright, expanding the use of their research. The ILAE journals offer Open Access publishing, with Epilepsia Open being a fully Open Access publication.

Note to Authors: Wiley recently signed a four-year 'read and publish’ agreement with Jisc (the UK’s research and education not-for-profit that negotiates licenses and digital content agreements on behalf of 138 UK universities) meaning researchers can publish Open Access and read all Wiley-published journals at no direct charge to the author.
