On behalf of the organizing committee, we inform you that after discussions with foreign speakers - Shandra Benitsky and George Welmer, it was decided to reschedule the EEG and MRI Training Course on epilepsy in the second half of 2021, due to the appropriateness of conducting this school in the normal mode in Kyiv. In case of refusal to participate in the postponed Training Course, the organizing committee guarantees a refund for the paid registration fee. New dates will be announced in addition. Organizing committee of Ukrainian Conference on Stereotactic and Functional neurosurgery with international participants “ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES FOR IMPROVING PATIENTS’ LIVES” has been actively monitoring and updating the evolving situation in Europe and world-wide related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since our last informational letter, the outbreak has worsened. Regretfully, the Organizing committee has decided not to hold Ukrainian Conference on Stereotactic and Functional neurosurgery with international participants “ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES FOR IMPROVING PATIENTS’ LIVES” in June, 2020 and to postpone the Conference on 2021.

The new dates of Conference will be announced later. If you have already registered for the Conference, further information will be sent to you directly. Many of us are aware of the current COVID-19 outbreak and, unfortunately, this has greatly influenced medical conferences.

In connection with the prevention of the spread of COVID-19, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on October 13, 2020 decided to further strengthen the restrictive measures. Read detailed information https://covid19.gov.ua/karantynni-zakhody

In connection with this resolution, offline events are prohibited, so it was decided to hold the XXIV ULAE conference with international participation "25 years of the Ukrainian League Against Epilepsy - achievements of domestic epileptology" in online format on scheduled dates - October 29-31, 2020. the format will provide an opportunity to hold the event in compliance with all recommendations, current procedures and security protocols of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

A link to the online review will be emailed prior to the event.

All participants who are registered for offline participation and wish to participate in the new online format are asked to confirm their participation. The difference in the cost of the registration fee will be refunded to all participants.

If you do not wish to participate in the online format, the organizing committee guarantees a refund for the paid registration fee - notify the organizing committee by 27.10.2020.
