Advancing the genetic knowledge of epilepsy

Harnessing the power of big data, the ILAE Consortium on Complex Epilepsies used several databases and gene expression libraries to analyze the genomes of more than 15,000 people with epilepsy and nearly 30,000 controls. The analysis, recently published in Nature Communications, is the largest study of its kind.
